Whew! It’s been about a month in development so far on my Private Messaging Plugin for WordPress. But I’m pleased to announce that the very first version of Cartpauj PM was released today! You can get it for free at the WordPress Plugin repository. You can see this plugin in action here on my site by signing up and visiting the messages page.
Why did I decide to write a Private Messaging Plugin for WordPress users? Because even though there are a handful of other ones available, most of them work through the dashboard. Most WP users, including myself would prefer to keep the users as far away from the dashboard as possible. Cartpauj PM accomplishes this by using a simple shortcode on a page/post of your choosing, in an extremely easy fashion. With almost no setup needed you can have a full-blown Private Messaging system on your WordPress site in a minute or less!
