It looks like WordPress no longer offers your amazing uCan WordPress plugin.

Is everything okay?

I cannot answer that one it cartpauj he is the developer of it. post on his wall for that one.

Cool. I completely understand.

In the mean time, I was able to get an old copy of the plugin and try it on a test site of mine.

Very, very awesome plugin.

I run a membership site that shows bloggers how to get guest bloggers. So this plugin is perfect for them.

With that said, I'm a bit confused about the flow.

We'd like to be able to have guest bloggers submit their name and their email address... have uCan automatically create a WordPress account... and once their post is approved by the site's owner, display the post and them as the WordPress author.

But I'm not seeing how to do this.

It seems like the guest blogger has to first create a WordPress account, then log in, then use the uCan script. This seems like an unnecessary step.

Can you point me in the right direction on how to make this happen?

Thanks in advance... I'll post a link in my tutorial on how my members can donate to the cause.

Something didn't seem right about the silence on my questions, so I started digging around a bit and found this:

Yikes!

... Then I did a little bit more diffing and see a bunch of security sites are talking about this issue.

With that said, is there anything I can do to help? Can I make a small donation to both help fix these injection issues and get my questions answered?

It's a shame because it's a great plugin.

I'm going to have a programmer of mine fix the injection issue so I can offer it to my members. Is that okay?
