Hello. I installed the ElegantPress theme and it worked great. For some reason, I deleted the mingle-forum-skins folder manually and got rid of the plugin altogether. I decided to reinstall it again, but now the Skins admin page is completely blank. I tried deactivating, deleting and reinstalling the plugin. Still the same problem.

The rest of the plugin works fine, except the Skins page so I can't activate any skins. Also, the mingle-forum-skins folder did not recreate itself after the second install, I had to do it manually, which I thought was strange.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

installed mingle forum after trouble with buddy press compatibility. So far I really like it and think it would be perfect for my site but I've also had a similar issue. When I originally installed mingle forum the skins admin page showed the default theme and everything works fine. I tried downloading DDart Universal dark theme and had to create mingle-forum-skins folder as it wasn't there. Since then the skins admin page is blank. I've tried creating a mingle-forum-skins folder both in the /wp-content and wp-content/plugins/mingle-forum and uploading the skin there and no luck. I've tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it and reactivating mingle too. The forum itself and other options seem to work fine just no way to skin. Has anyone got any ideas what else to try?

Structure fot the skins is /wp-content/mingle-forum-skins/ each skin will be in its own dir you do have to FTP them in the it. Hope this helps as the abiove structure is the only one that works.

Finally worked! I had already FTP'd it but on closer inspection I had stuck it in the plugins folder instead of the directory up from that. Thanks for the help and patience with a newbie http://forensicarchaeology.org/members/forum

Now all you have to do is make a few Catagories and some forums in thekm and your all set to go. Have a great one.

I am still getting blank screen when selecting ACP/Mingle Forum/Skins

Nothing comes up! BLANK SCREEN.

wordpress/_comtent/plugins/mingle-forum/
made new directory /skins
made directory /new skin name
unzipped skin and Filezilla into appropriate sub directory.

Still nothing come up in ACP skins????

What am I doing wrong?

Help much appreciated!

OK got a skin coming up.

When Mingle installed it installed in /wordpress/_content/plugins/mingle-forum/
There was no /wordpress/_content/mingle-forum-skins/ each skin
So added that directory and copied the default skin into its own directory here and it now comes up in the ACP/Mingleforum/Skins!!!
Now to install another skin because the blue with grey is hard to read.

Is it that WP 3.5.1 has new file structure?
