Please help me, I have downloaded the file for your brown skin and usde Filezilla to upload the same file to wp-content/mingle-forum-skins but upon return to the Dashboard plugins>skins, only the blue default skin is visible. Was I supposed to unzip the downloaded file? Please advise me.

INSTALLING A CUSTOM SKIN:

  • Download the skin
  • Extract the files
  • Upload the skin folder to the /wp-content/mingle-forum-skins/ directory. If that directory doesn’t exist you’ll need to create it.
  • Head to Dashboard->Mingle Forum->Skins->Activate it.
  • DONE!

    When I download the file, it is a RAR file and there is no apparent way to extract any files. What am I missing?

    I was able to download and unzip Mod_for_MingleForm_by_DDart_1-3 which included 3 php files and put unzipped file in wp-content/mingle-forum-skins. When I went back to wordpress dashboard Mingle Forums / Skins to activate there was the following error message

    Warning: file_get_contents(/home/content/31/7500231/html/url.com/wp-content/mingle-forum-skins/Mod_for_MingleForum_by_DDart_1-3/style.css) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/31/7500231/html/url.com/wp-content/plugins/mingle-forum/fs-admin/fs-admin.php on line 260

    Hey, thanks for the theme! I installed it but the color fades into my background. Also the some of the words glow. I don't know much about code. Could you tell me how to fix it please? Thank you!

    rfa, you are using a skin that is not adapted to dark sites very well. I would recommend changing to one of ddarts dark site skins instead.
