Currently I am trying to get your forum to work on wpmu 3.0.4 on sub-domain blogs. The problem I am having is: the way the forum plugin is set up to locate members data, currently it pulls member info from database table wp_users. This means that every user of every subdomain blog automatically becomes a member of every forum set up system wide.

Here is an example site: http://beta8.sbeadverts.com/

currently there are only three user for this blog but if you look in Info Center

The only solution I see so far would be to get user data from wp_usermeta this way plug in could be set up to check blog ID and which users have permissions for that blog ID

Thank you for any assistance you can provide

It works perfectly so long as it's installed on the primary blog, in which case it makes sense for all users to have access to post by default.

Even if the userbase problem you described above didn't exist and/or was fixed, I'd strongly caution against running this on sub-blogs of a MU install, especially if you're allowing 3rd parties access through it. The "Ads" feature alone could allow someone to do all kinds of nasty, as it injects raw script into the site.

I would think if the plugin started supporting anything other than the primary blog of a network install, there'd be a whole bunch of work to be done.
