Post Update on New Mingle Forum Cartpauj?

Cartpauj,
I think the Mingle Forum Community would love an update on the new Mingle Forum. I think many of us are gettting a little nervous with the lack of support we are getting in the forums. I am assuming its becuase you have your head down coding the new forum. We all love the Mingle Forum and appreciate all your hard work. Many of us are committed to using the mingle forum and want to stick with it. We all know how fun forum migrations can be :x .

Just some reassurring news is all we are looking for.

It would be nice to know what was going on... I use another plugin for my social network and my forum is Mingle, but I'm concerned about contiuing this way since to size of the forum is getting quite large and if I migrate to the forum in the social plugin or mingle. Is there any release date?

I too am very interested in the stats of the new Mingle Forum. I'm putting together a new site that will include a forum. Is the new Mingle still in the works or should I start shopping elsewhere?

The new forum is going slower than I had hoped. It's a lot of work putting together a plugin that is as powerful as many other stand-alone PHP forums -- especially when you're a one-man team :)

That being said, I will continue to maintain the Mingle Forum 1.x.x series by fixing bugs, adding a few new features when time allows, ensuring compatibility with newer versions of WP, and plugging any and all discovered security holes if/when they are found.

Mingle Forum is around for the long haul :D -- will be posting the next version in a day or so. Thanks!

Hi Lila, unfortunately it's caused by another plugin you're using. In the past this issue has been caused by Facebook sharing plugins.

The only other options are SEO plugins or even your theme. A lot of times theme's have built in SEO which can cause this to happen too.
