HELP! I can't create a new topic?
This question gets asked a lot and it's understandable why. Many people install the forum, setup their options and add some "Categories" the problem is that they fail to see the little "Add Forum" link on the right side of those new categories. Categories are just organizing blocks for the Forums. You must have at least one category with at least one forum inside of it to post new topics.
How do I enable user registration in Mingle Forum?
You don't. You enable user registration through your WordPress settings. "Anyone can register" needs to be enabled.
How does private messaging work within the forum?
The forum does not natively support PMs but if you have Mingle or Cartpauj PM installed the forum will auto-detect them and add messaging links on the forum pages.
Is this just an old Version of WP Forum / Forum Server plugin?
NO!!! This project was picked up from WP Forum and since then has received new features literally 100's of bug/code fixes and amazing support. If you don't believe that it has been improved upon GREATLY feel free to view the changelog. If you still don't believe after that, then use something else -- it won't hurt my feelings to not have you around :D
Can the forum be made private?
The forum does have a "Groups" feature which will allow only members of a group to view certain categories assigned to that group. If you need the entire forum to be private, then you may look into using one of a bunch of existing plugins that will block page content from non-users.

Is it compatible with Multi-site installs?
Currently no, however I hope that it will support it in the future...don't ask me when though because I can't really answer that question ;)
Can I have the forum show on more than one page?
No! Mingle Forum works on one page only.
Is it possible to add advertisements, including adsense scripts?
Yes, just use the ads option in the Mingle Forum dashboard menu.
Do you do custom work?
I'm pretty busy, currently working two jobs and have College on top of that. But if the price is right and the work isn't going to be too time consuming then "YES".
Where can I find the submitted Posts?
If you have "Moderation" enabled in the uCan Post settings then all new submissions will show up in the "Pending" area of your blog posts section. You will need to manually approve the post before it will show up on your site.
Can guests send PM's to registered users?
No, only registered users can access the features of this plugin.
How often do you update this?
I try to update it about once a month. However because of the time spent on Mingle Forum that may not always be the case.
Is it compatible with Multi-site installs?
